ℋ∞ almost synchronization for homogeneous networks of non-introspective SISO agents under external disturbances

چکیده
This paper addresses the problem of “H∞ almost synchronization” for networks of identical, linear agents under directed communication topologies. Agents are presumed to be non-introspective; i.e. agents are not aware of their own state or output, and every agent is only provided with a linear combination of its own output relative to that of the neighbors. Providing the solvability conditions, a family of dynamic protocols is developed such that the impact of disturbances on the synchronization error dynamics, expressed in terms of the H∞ norm of the corresponding closed-loop transfer function, is reduced to any arbitrarily small value. Thus, synchronization with any desired accuracy can be achieved.

Homogeneous Networks of Non-Introspective Agents Under External Disturbances - H_infinity Almost Synchronization
This paper addresses the problem of “H∞ almost synchronization” for homogeneous networks of general linear agents subject to external disturbances and under directional communication links. Agents are presumed to be non-introspective; i.e. agents are not aware of their own states or outputs, and the only available information for each agent is a network measurement that is a linear combination ...
متن کاملℋ∞ almost output synchronization for heterogeneous networks in the presence of external disturbances without exchange of controller states
We consider the H∞ almost output synchronization and regulated output synchronization problem for heterogeneous directed networks with external disturbances where agents are introspective (i.e. agents have access to a part of their own state). A decentralized protocol is designed for each agent, without exchanging internal controller states with neighboring agents, to achieve output synchroniza...
متن کاملℌ1 almost synchronization for non-identical introspective multi-agent systems under external disturbances
In this paper, synchronization for multi-agent systems subject to external disturbances is studied, and the notion of “H∞ almost synchronization” is introduced. The objective is to suppress the impact of disturbances on the synchronization error dynamics in terms of the H∞ norm of the corresponding closed-loop transfer function to any arbitrarily value. We focus on networks of non-identical lin...
متن کاملH∞ Almost Regulated Synchronization and H∞ Almost Formation for Heterogeneous Networks under External Disturbances
We introduce the notions of “H∞ almost regulated synchronization” and “H∞ almost formation” for multi-agent systems subject to external disturbances and under directed interconnection structures. We assume that agents are linear, right-invertible and introspective with non-identical dynamics. The objective is to suppress the impact of disturbances on the synchronization error dynamics in terms ...
متن کاملSynchronization in networks of minimum-phase, non-introspective agents without exchange of controller states: Homogeneous, heterogeneous, and nonlinear
We consider the synchronization problem for a class of directed networks where the agents receive relative output information from their neighbors, but lack independent information about their own state or output (they are non-introspective) and are unable to exchange internal controller states with their neighbors. We consider three classes of networks defined by the properties of the agent dy...
